Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\n

Job Details:

\n

• Work Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
\n• Three 12-hour shifts per week
\n• No on-call responsibilities required
\n• Perform technical procedures and assist in clinical evaluation of patients in Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center
\n• Create diagnostic images using CT scan technology
\n• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
\n• Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances
\n• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures per New York State Department of Health code part 16
\n• Must be graduate of approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
\n• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York required
\n• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration required
\n• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required
\n• ARRT (CT) verification required upon submission
\n• Entry level position with limited or no experience acceptable
