Job Description
We are looking for Special Education Teachers to provide school-based, home-based or on site services in New York in all the boroughs of NYC: We are looking to fill these positions immediately in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx.
SETSS Cases:
1) Students/School- 1 student/ after school
Grades- 7th
Hours- 3 hours per week
Location- Bed Stuy
*Enhanced Rate*
2)Students/School- 1 student/ homeschooled
Grades- 7th
Hours-15 hours per week
Location- Upper Manhattan
3)
Students/School- 1 student/ homeschooled
Grades- K
Hours- 5 hours
Location- Queens, NY 11104
DUTIES:
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
* Trained in Orton-Gillingham or Wilson program*
* The position has flexible hours from Sunday-Saturday.
* New graduates, who are N.Y.S licensed special education teachers, are encouraged to apply.
* Licensed special education teachers whose strength is in Math (middle and high school) are strongly needed.
* Retired special education/literacy teachers are encouraged to apply.
*Teachers, who are currently employed by the New York Department of Education, are not allowed to work for this program.
