Special Academic Instructor/ Special Education Teacher/ SAI - Redlands, CA

Full-time at a school

Looking for someone who has a Mild/Mod or Mod/Severe teaching credential and experience with IEPs (writing goals/reporting on progress/attending IEPs), case management, servicing sped learners, etc.

$45.00 – $55.00 per hour

Pediatric Therapy Associates is a multi-disciplinary team fueled with the mission of developing children to their fullest. We serve student population Pre-K through Grade 12.

Responsibilities of Special Academic Instructor/ Special Education Teacher/ SAI

• Prepare and implement the instructional process for students with special needs
• Attend IEP meetings as needed to assist in the development of student IEP’s
• Deliver instruction, through the use of curriculum materials and educational software
• Develop daily lesson plans and classroom schedule that reflects state and school requirements
• The Teacher continually assesses students’ progress to maximize their fullest potential.
• Continuous collaboration with a variety of individuals and groups, including parents, district and county personnel and various agencies
• Provides for the academic, social and emotional growth of each student by using a variety of instructional strategies.
• Implement standards for student behavior in order to ensure a safe, secure and effective learning environment by providing a high degree of structure, clear expectations, and consistency

Must be willing to travel to student's site if needed

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $45.00 to $55.00 /hour
