• POSITION SUMMARY
  
  
  • Under the supervision of an RN, provides close observation of patients. Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment and promotes a safe, therapeutic milieu.
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  
  
  • Licenses and Certifications Required
    
    
    • CNA certification preferred
  • Educational Requirements
    
    
    • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
    • Clerical training preferred.

  • Special Skills or Training Requirements
    
    
    • The employee in this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environment and therapeutic milieu based on the age of the patients served.
    • He/she must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to communicate observed changes in behavior/activity to the registered nurse.
