Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 and Oracle Database 19c. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This role requires hands-on experience with Oracle EBS administration, patching, cloning, and troubleshooting, as well as advanced database management skills.

Salary Range: $125,000/year to $140,000/year

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database 19c and Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 environments.
  • Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations in compliance with best practices.
  • Manage EBS application tiers, including concurrent managers, workflow, and forms.
  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies for optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure database security, backup, and recovery procedures are in place and tested.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle EBS and database environments.
  • Support development teams with SQL tuning, schema changes, and data integrity.
  • Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for production support and disaster recovery.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 administration.
  • Expertise in Oracle Database 19c installation, configuration, and tuning.
  • Proficiency in RMAN, Data Guard, and backup/recovery strategies.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
