About the Job:
We’re looking for a skilled Millwright to join our maintenance team in a large-scale manufacturing plant. As a Millwright, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment that keeps production running. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge, precision, and a commitment to working safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.
What You’ll Do:
Install, assemble, align, and secure heavy machinery and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other plant equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make repairs to minimize downtime.
Use precision tools (dial indicators, laser alignment tools, micrometers) to ensure proper alignment and operation of machinery.
Fabricate, weld, and modify parts as needed for equipment repairs or upgrades.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Work with electricians, pipefitters, and other trades to complete maintenance projects.
Follow all plant safety policies, lockout/tagout, and OSHA regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
4+ years of experience as a millwright in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant setting.
Strong mechanical aptitude with skills in rigging, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, hoists, lifts, and precision measuring equipment.
Familiarity with conveyor systems, pumps, motors, gear reducers, and rotating equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts when required.
Requirements:
MUST be able to pass a background check. No felonies newer than 10 years old.
