Job Description

LHH is hiring for a Finance Manager for a large client based in Erie PA.

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. This role plays a critical part in strategic planning and decision-making, ensuring financial practices align with business goals and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax filings.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial planning.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., D365, Tableau, OneStream) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
