General Information

• CNC Grinder
• Perry, OH
• $20-$25/hour
• 2nd shift
• Contract to Hire opportunity.

As the CNC Grinder you are responsible for setting up and tending grinding machines in order to grind various cutting inserts with materials such as PCD, PCBN, Carbide and Ceramic.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate machine tools such as manual and CNC grinders to produce parts.
• Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
• Determine grinding speeds and feed rates, fixturing and grinding wheel to be used.
• Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications.
• Use manual and computer-controlled machinery.
• Write basic programs.
• Modify programs in response to problems.

Skills/Qualifications

• 2 or more years' experience working with precision grinding machines or CNC machines.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform math calculations.
• Problem solving ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Will be subject to other pre-employment screening.

Shift Information

• Initial training will be on 1st shift, Mon-Fri from 7am-330pm
• Position will be on 2nd shift, hours to be determined
