About the role

We need a reliable, scalable system to support our growth. As a Backend Engineer, you'll own and maintain significant parts of our backend infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability as we expand.

Ideal team members are adaptable, resilient, communicative, and committed to high-quality work, with a customer-first and action-oriented culture.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining core infrastructure.
• Enhancing platform reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Expanding metrics and alert systems to improve user experience.
• Collaborating with teams to deliver a seamless user experience.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience.
• Self-starter with project management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
• English communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• 4+ years server-side development experience.
• Experience with Node.js, NoSQL (MongoDB), AWS, and DevOps.
• Experience in FinTech or data-heavy applications (not required).

Salary range: $90k - $150k + equity.
