Currently, we are looking for a Web Developer (full-time) to join the team. Please pay attention to the fact that the schedule of work will be per New York/LA time zone (9 am - 6 pm EST time zone).

As a Web Developer at Top Position , your responsibilities will include:

  • Development and maintenance of large-scale, multi-page websites built on WordPress using Elementor and WooCommerce;

  • Managing websites with a large volume of images, videos, products, and services, including:
  • Reducing page weight, optimizing code, files, images, and videos;

  • Implementing performance-improvement solutions;

  • Optimizing website speed and improving Core Web Vitals;

  • Setting up and optimizing CDN (CloudFlare) for caching, load speed enhancement, and server load reduction.

  • Communicating with English-speaking hosting support and resolving technical issues;

  • Optimizing WooCommerce for handling large data volumes (products, categories, filters, integrations);

  • Implementing SEO-friendly solutions, such as structured data, URL optimization, and caching;

  • Optimizing media loading (lazy load, compression, WebP formats, video delivery via CDN);

  • Analyzing and simplifying website structure to ensure it is functional, lightweight, and user-friendly;

  • Working with production and staging environments to ensure smooth deployments and updates with minimal downtime;

  • Managing WordPress multisites, including configuration, optimization, and maintenance.

What will set you up for success:

  • 3+ years of experience in web development, especially with large-scale projects;

  • Advanced expertise in WordPress, Elementor, WooCommerce, and managing websites with extensive catalogs of products and services;

  • Proven ability to optimize large websites with thousands of images and pages;

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL;

  • Experience improving Core Web Vitals and enhancing website speed;

  • Familiarity with performance tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Lighthouse;

  • Knowledge of CloudFlare and other CDN solutions;

  • Intermediate English or higher to communicate with the team and hosting support;

  • Having experience working with production and staging environments for safe updates and testing;

  • Proven ability to manage and optimize WordPress multisites;

  • Ability to develop custom solutions for WooCommerce and Elementor.

Not necessarily but will be a plus:

  • Experience managing WordPress multisites;

  • Familiarity with premium Elementor and WooCommerce plugins;

  • Expertise in scaling websites while maintaining high performance;

  • Experience with Rank Math SEO, Yoast SEO, or similar tools.
