Job Title: Operations Manager - Hauling (Waste & Recycling)
Location: Texas Our client is seeking a proven leader to oversee waste and recycling collection operations for a high-performing team serving commercial, residential, and roll-off customers. This position is responsible for day-to-day operations and team performance in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
What You'll Do:
Lead a diverse team of supervisors, drivers, helpers, dispatchers, and clerks
Oversee route efficiency, productivity, labor usage, and customer service metrics
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all operations
Manage hiring, training, performance reviews, and employee development
Own and manage departmental budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships

What We're Looking For:
Experience managing large frontline teams in the waste and/or recycling industry
Strong understanding of safety programs, DOT compliance, and environmental regulations

Ability to execute strategy, manage change, and drive accountability
Strong communication and decision-making skills
Financial and operational acumen to manage departmental budgets
