Job Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of receiving, stocking, picking, packing, loading, unloading, and shipping product in an efficient and reliable manner.

Job Description

• Responsible for receiving items daily and ensuring they are properly labeled with the correct number and stocked in the bin location
• Prepare shipments, read sales orders, pull items, box/palletize, weigh, fill to customer pick list, attach a copy of the RF Smart-generated Customer order label to the shipment, and forward original paperwork to logistics
• Responsible for notifying appropriate departments of any discrepancies/or damages to material
• Secure the warehouse from loss by assuring the warehouse is locked, and report any theft, loss or missing items to the Manager immediately
• Responsible for safely operating the warehouse machinery and reporting any equipment maintenance to the warehouse supervisor
• Must be willing to cross-train into other areas of the warehouse as required to meet schedule due dates
• Work extra hours daily and on weekends as instructed by the warehouse manager to ensure all assignments are complete
• Must be able to work in a non-controlled climate, i.e., no air conditioning in the plant
• Must follow all safety and environmental policies and programs
• Responsibile for maintaining the warehouse clean and orderly

Skills Required

• Must have communication skills

• There may be heavy lifting associated with this role
• Workers may be required to lift to 50 lbs. Any material/product over 50 lbs. would require a 2-person lift or will use equipment on site to lift

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work in a non-controlled climate, i.e., no air conditioning in the plant
• Must follow all safety and environmental policies and programs
• Must be able to work around chemicals assigned to the department and wear the proper PPE
• Must be willing to work in an on-the-job training status for the first two or three weeks of employment
• Schedule: 6:00 am - 5:00 pm with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break

Pay Rate/Salary

• $18.00/hr.
