About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Real Estate Investments to join our executive team. This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to lead the charge in identifying and sourcing lucrative commercial real estate (CRE) investment opportunities, particularly in emerging asset classes and markets. You will be instrumental in driving the underwriting process, conducting comprehensive market analyses, cash flow modeling, and evaluating capital structures for a diverse range of asset classes including industrial, flex, office, self-storage, and multi-family properties.
Your responsibilities will encompass managing the entire acquisition process, from initial sourcing through to deal closing, while collaborating closely with our asset and property management teams to align with our long-term portfolio strategy. We are seeking candidates with 8-15 years of relevant commercial real estate experience, particularly in acquisitions, asset management, or investment analysis. A strong track record in identifying market trends and executing successful investments in the CRE sector is crucial. Experience with a CRE owner/operator or institutional private equity real estate firm is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Argus and hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or a related field. We value self-driven, entrepreneurial professionals who excel in interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Additional responsibilities include preparing investment memoranda, financing packages, presentation materials, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders in the CRE industry.
