Zoox's Vehicle Development Team is seeking an entry level engineer to participate in an Engineering Rotational Program. The Vehicle Development Engineering Rotational Program (VDERP) is a professional development program designed to provide hands-on experience across critical vehicle development system programs. This program offers early-career engineers the opportunity to contribute to the development of autonomous vehicles while gaining diverse technical expertise across Zoox Vehicle Engineering and Vehicle Integration Departments.

In This Role, You Will - Collaborate with a team of world-class engineers with diverse backgrounds in areas such as AI, robotics, mechatronics, planning, machine learning, control, localization, computer vision, rendering, simulation, distributed computing, design and automated testing.
- Be challenged to rethink what it means for hardware design to arrive at elegant and efficient systems now that a robot is in control.
Qualifications - BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering or Robotics
- Strong academic performance

Compensation There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $135,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
