Description:
MUST WORK 2 OUT OF 3 OF THE HOLIDAY BUNDLES (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD)
This position is in a brand-new Critical Care facility, featuring new rooms, resources, and state-of-the-art technology.
The Critical Care Tower increases the overall hospital capacity for patients and provides the opportunity for health professionals to build careers in an advanced medical facility.
Nurses must have prior experience in a level 1 trauma center and telemetry.
First-time travelers are accepted upon screening.
Weekend coverage is required for one shift per month.
On-call duty is required for 1-2 overnight shifts monthly according to a 4-week schedule.
Nurses may float within their scope to meet facility needs, particularly to the holding area in the PACU department, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-5.
Highly recommend candidates with Phase II PACU experience, accustomed to increased nurse-to-patient ratios.
All travelers must have a valid driver's license and personal transportation.
Compliance documents must be submitted timely.
Travelers requesting time off must limit requests to one holiday bundle and adhere to specified restrictions regarding vacation requests.
Candidates must be fully available and ready for compliance procedures in the first few weeks after acceptance.
Drug screens are required prior to the start of work.
Modules will be completed during orientation and annually.
