• Location: Yakima, WA 98902 – Explore Washington nursing jobs in the heart of wine country and outdoor paradise!\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,990 - $2,130\n
• Assignment Type: Travel RN, Float Pool\n
• Start Date: December 15, 2025\n
• End Date: March 14, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a)\n
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed\n
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend\n
• Holiday Expectations: Every other holiday (travel nurses scheduled only if needed)\n
• Scrub Color: Any solid color (no graphics/designs)\n
• Free parking with security patrol \n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active RN license (Washington nursing license preferred)\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred\n
• Must pass Telemetry exam prior to starting\n
• Clinical skills: chest tubes, trachs, PICC/midlines/central lines, foleys, NG tubes, dressing changes, wound vacs, ostomies\n
• Experience with telemetry, pediatrics, and psychiatric nursing preferred\n
• Ability to float to various Med/Surg units and, if experienced, to Peds and Psych units\n

\n\nRN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Float to all Med/Surg units within a 226-bed hospital, including Medical/Oncology/Stroke, Telemetry, Surgical/Urology, Ortho/MedSurg, and ER for Med/Surg holds\n
• Provide nursing care for a diverse adult patient population: post-surgical, stroke, oncology, CHF, COPD, respiratory, GI, orthopedic, and COVID patients\n
• Occasionally provide total care assignments or act as CNA as needed\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: CNAs, wound care, phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, resource nurses, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and remote telemetry technicians\n
• Utilize EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Philips monitors\n
• Participate in hospital orientation and Float Pool-specific training\n
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment\n
