Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 9 LDR; 8 PP/GYN; 2 OR suites; 23 wellborn nursery
• Number of Staff – 50+
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – Director; Manager; Couplet nurses; Birth response nurse; L&D nurses; Scrub Tech
  • Night Shift – Clinical coordinator or charge nurse; Birth response; couplet; L&D nurses; Scrub Tech
• Patient Ratios – 3 couplets/1 nurse; L&D = 1:1 active labor/Pitocin/epidural
• Type of equipment – Corometrics
• EMR – Centricity Perinatal & Meditech

Must have : 

• 2+ years OB experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP & AWHONN

Preferred or nice to have :

• Cesarean section – circulator, 1st assist, scrub

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

• Labor & Delivery; cesarean sections; post-partum & newborn care
• OBED triage; inductions; midwives

Best personality Fit:

• Energetic and self-directed

Floating Area(s):

• Within the unit – nowhere else in the facility

Dress Code :

• We provide scrubs

Weekends and On call:

• 4 weekend shifts/4 week schedule: days are Saturday/Sunday; nights are Friday/Saturday
• No call requirement for travel staff, however, there may be opportunity for extra shifts
