JOB DESCRIPTION
OVERVIEW
The Sr. Systems Architect job is Hybrid Remote Temporary Consulting position located in the Dallas Fort Worth area. This position requires 3 days in office and 2 days work from home with company laptop provided. This job will last for approximately one (1) year and is eligible to be converted to Direct Hire for the right matched Candidate. The company is a very large multi-billion dollar global company. The Sr. Systems Architect will be responsible for defining the architecture, design, and drives the delivery of cloud based distributed systems and application development. The successful candidate must understand highly available & reliable systems and its architecture, web based and mobile application development, middle tier systems development with strong experience in SOA and messaging based platforms, with working experience in various database technologies.
JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for overall design and software development in support of enhancing advisory portfolio’s user experience – web development & reports generation. Works with product teams to understand digital needs in multiple functional areas and design technical solutions.
- Defines technical requirements meeting product needs and creates high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms. Defines the conceptual and logical architecture for the capabilities.
- Rapidly deliver prototypes and proof-of-concept work to validate a proposed architectural approach.
- Creates high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms.
- Design & tune systems for scalability, performance, and high availability. Performs code and quality reviews and/or input/advice to other developers regarding their deliverables.
- Works with strategic vendors to develop implementation strategies, best practices, and architectures.
- Works with development teams on implementing methodologies and standard development practices. Tech Stack: Angular Framework, Go Lang, Postgres DB, AWS Fargate, Kafka, Azure DevOps, Jfrog Artifactory, Data Dog
- Drives adherence to security and compliance directives and best-practices. Employs continuous improvement tools and competencies for optimal productivity
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- 10 + years of broad experience leading architecture and development solutions , with a proven record in technology planning and delivery in a large global corporation.
- Possesses expertise across multiple architecture domains, forward- thinking, and well-versed in emerging technologies and trends. Demonstrated experience of supporting modern web development with latest methodologies leveraging Angular and Go lang frameworks
- Working experience & technical certifications in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google) desirable
- Expertise in building various data solutions using various ETL and Datamart/Data warehousing technologies
- Experience working in agile development environment
- Knowledge about native mobile development preferred
