Overview Position: Senior Travel Agent Location: Remote (Portugal) or Hybrid (Lisbon at the candidate's discretion) Employment type: Full-time Remuneration: Competitive base salary We are seeking a Senior Travel Agent to deliver exceptional, personalised travel support to our clients. This role involves assisting travellers with all aspects of their journey, from standard platform queries to last-minute travel emergencies while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and service quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing insights and feedback to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience. Responsibilities Provide world-class, personalized assistance to travelers, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Handle inquiries related to travel bookings, itineraries, and technical issues with professionalism and empathy. Stay up to date with travel industry trends and platform updates to ensure accurate and timely support. Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for process and product improvements. Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues across global teams. Meet and exceed performance metrics and KPIs. Qualifications Native or fluent in English (C1 level), both written and spoken. Previous experience in customer service, ideally within the travel or hospitality sector. Hands-on experience with GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on personalized service. Goal-oriented and metrics-driven mindset. Proficiency with customer support and communication tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce. Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends (rotating shifts between 07:00 and 22:00, Monday to Sunday). Tech-savvy, adaptable, and a strong team player.
