Project Engineering - Packaging

We are looking to add engineering expertise to our team in the Northern UT area!

75% minimum on site with 25% remote

Mon – Fri avg 40 hrs/week, with opportunity for extended hours on some weekends

About this Role

Serve a critical role as a Sr Project Manager / Project Engineer on a CAPEX Packaging project, fully integrating into Corporate and Plant engineering teams of this exciting company! The role requires experience with X-Ray systems, QA / QC protocols to reduce occurrence of rejects, and Line Performance Data using Statistical Data Collection. The packaging line of interest runs multiple product configurations and graphics, and corrugated cases and trays within cases. A total of three packaging lines require process validation. Responsibilities include project coordination with the OEMs, Controls Integrator, and Plant and Corporate personnel.

Requirements

• BS in Packaging, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field.
• PE license preferred but not required.
• MUST HAVE a min of 10 years of Project Engineering and Project Management experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
• Preference for local - within 1 hr drive to the Northern UT area.
• Strong Secondary and Tertiary Packaging Line experience with X-Ray Systems.
• Extensive experience in Project Management and Safety Protocols.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple outside installation contractors and OEMs through all phases of the project.
• Use of software including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD.

Job Types: Full Time, Long Term Contract

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Salary: $95.00 - $110.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day Shift, some off shift
• Monday to Friday
• Some Weekend work possible
• Schedule Flexibility

Work Location: Northern, UT area, mainly on-site with some remote work possible.
