We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services, while collaborating closely with development and engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Lead and support GKE integration efforts with development and engineering teams.
• Implement and manage GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Automate cloud operations and workflows using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Apply GitOps principles to manage infrastructure as code and ensure version control and traceability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket and Jenkins.
• Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices, compliance requirements, and Windows Server/Active Directory configurations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• 5+ years of experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), including integration with development/engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
• Scripting expertise in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience implementing GitOps workflows for infrastructure management.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud security/compliance standards.

Preferred Skills:

• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of container security and service mesh technologies.
