Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

An opportunity exists for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide vital support in a K-12 school setting. This part-time position requires an on-site therapist to deliver services that enhance the educational and developmental outcomes for students. The role spans 1-2 days per week, allowing for a focused and meaningful engagement with children.

Qualifications:

Valid California Occupational Therapy license
Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Familiarity with various therapy modalities and best practices in pediatric care
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate students needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
Provide direct therapeutic services in accordance with IEPs
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapies as needed
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student care
Maintain professional documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
