Job Description

A Japanese manufacturing/distributing company is looking for a logistics coordinator in NYC. You must be able to commute to the office every day.

Job Duty:

• Entering data including order and shipment schedule into Oracle database. Creating invoices and monitoring payment status.
• Communicating extensively with both customers and HQ in Japan to coordinate and update customers’ orders and shipment status and design/color development. Reporting project update list to customers.
• Generating P/O and accounts payable responsibilities
• Generating monthly reports and general managers meetings for sales staff to review current orders, sales target and predictions for the next month target and reports for designs sold per year to customers
• Maintaining inventory control of the products to update customers of their inventory status for order placement. Ordering inventory items to Japanese HQ provides inventory reports to customers weekly.
• Prepares office expense report, customer deposit report monthly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of similar experience in sales and logistic coordination.
• Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be flexible, analytical and detailed-oriented.
• Able to perform multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of PC and applications.
