Release Train Engineer/ Scrum Master

Must be local to the Atlanta area

Our client in the Atlanta area is looking for an experienced Lean/Agile practitioner to join the team. The Release Train Engineer/Scrum Master has a primary purpose of supporting an Agile Release Train Team (RTT) by steering it to success and navigating the complexity of delivering software in large environments. The RTE helps resolve and escalate impediments, manages risk, helps assure value delivery, and drives program level continuous improvement. The RTE/SM is accountable for the overall coordination, execution and delivery of value through the program while ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Duration: 6+-month Contract with possible extensions

Location: Sandy Springs, GA and willing to work Hybrid schedule (2-3 days a week onsite)

Rate: $70- $75 hourly W2

Responsibilities:

• Facilitates the coordinated preparation and execution of release planning including prioritizing the features to be considered in the next program increment (PI) planning cycle
• Assists to relentlessly improve through the facilitation of Retrospectives quarterly, or more often as needed, to improve backlog management, reviews, sprint reviews, or coordination and higher-level function
• Assisting in the execution of product vision and facilitating production support, and relentless improvement of operational workflows and communication, etc.
• Strong technical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering quality software
• Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling model

Experience Requirements:

• Must have Scrum and Kanban experience
• Local to Atlanta, GA and can work Hybrid schedule
• Experience working with Data Analytics or AI teams
• Experience with Lean Portfolio Management facilitation for program, portfolio, or executive level
• Demonstrate the comprehension of a lean-Agile mindset and practices with the ability to develop others in this area
• Coaching the Agile release train to improve in the implementation of Agile processes, practices, and mindset
• Bachelors Degree
• Agile Certifications

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
