Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to work on various projects including assembly, restoration, and installation. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and performing tasks such as drywall installation, siding application, and construction painting. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for various construction tasks.
• Restore and repair existing wooden structures.
• Utilize hand tools effectively to complete carpentry tasks.
• Install drywall and siding according to project specifications.
• Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
• Familiarity with drywall installation, siding application, and construction painting is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
