Schedule: Full-Time | Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation & Incentives:
Base Pay: $39.57 – $53.34/hour (based on years of experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Available case by case
Relocation Assistance: Available case by case
Overview
An established acute care hospital in Miami is seeking an experienced Trauma Operating Room Registered Nurse to join their surgical services team. This role requires strong trauma OR experience in an acute care setting, with the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Due to on-call requirements, candidates must live within 30 minutes of the facility.
Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in a trauma operating room environment.
Provide nursing care across a wide range of trauma and surgical procedures.
Follow evidence-based practices and facility policies for perioperative care.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary staff for optimal patient outcomes.
Accurately document care and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Maintain professionalism and readiness during emergency and high-pressure situations.
Current Florida RN license or compact RN license with Florida eligibility – Required.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing – Required.
BLS (within 30 days of hire) – Required.
ACLS (within 30 days of hire) – Required.
Minimum 2 years of trauma operating room experience in an acute care setting – Required.
Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility due to mandatory on-call requirements.
