Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $350,000.00/yr A proprietary derivatives trading firm is looking for a Developer/Quantitative Engineer to take ownership of the technology stack and shape the future of their trading systems. You'll collaborate closely with quants and traders to design and build tools and infrastructure that push the boundaries of what's possible in derivatives trading. You'll join a tight-knit, collaborative team in a high-impact role where your ideas and code directly affect our strategies and performance. Responsibilities: Lead the development and maintenance of software systems, infrastructure, and tools. Collaborate with traders and quants to design and implement high-performance, data-driven trading strategies. Build and maintain web-based interfaces for monitoring and control systems. Design and manage databases, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of large-scale financial data. Automate Linux-based system tasks and manage remote servers. Perform statistical analysis and backtesting using large datasets to uncover trading insights. Database management skills - hands-on experience with SQL, MySQL, and SQLAlchemy. Data analysis expertise - strong command of NumPy, Pandas, and statistical modeling. Must be a U.S. citizen or have at least five years of U.S. employment authorization .
