About the Company - We are working with a growing commercial real estate company based in the DT Miami area who is looking to hire a Senior Staff Accountant / Property Accountant. Great Opportunity to jump into a growing company and gain further exposure across the financial side in addition to your traditional property accounting responsibilities.

About the Role - Must Have: Yardi Experience, Prior Real Estate Experience

Responsibilities

• Perform various accounting functions including but not limited to:
• Monthly property level bank reconciliations
• Recording of cash receipts to tenant ledgers and assist with posting monthly recurring charges
• Record Accounts Payable invoices using the Yardi automated invoicing module (pending implementation)
• Assist with and maintain property level rent rolls
• Assist with Month-End closing process including but not limited to, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, and recording amortization/depreciation expense
• Assist with the Preparation and Analysis of Monthly Financial Reports
• Work closely with third party property management companies, and joint venture partners
• Record opening and closing journal entries for the acquisition or disposition of real estate assets
• Assist with property level budget and forecasting activities
• Assists with financial statements and associated work papers for externally audited entities
• Assist with Year-End CAM reconciliations and tenant chargebacks
• Special Projects and additional duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications -

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of Experience
