Role Overview:

The Property Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations related to property management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing valuable financial insights to support the organization's objectives.

Responsibilities Include:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements for properties in accordance with GAAP.
• Closing Processes: Manage month-end and year-end closings for property accounts.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor property budgets and forecasts.
• Auditing: Conduct financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
• Strategic Insights: Provide financial recommendations to property management.
• Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable for properties.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain safeguards for property assets.
• Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing tax returns and regulatory filings for properties.
• Collaboration: Work with property managers and other departments to support financial planning.

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
