Position Overview: We are looking for two Junior Property Accountants to assist in the day-to-day accounting functions for our commercial real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience working with MRI software, focusing on accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage AP/AR processes using MRI software, ensuring timely processing of vendor payments and tenant billings.
• Transaction Recording: Accurately record all financial transactions related to commercial real estate, including invoices, receipts, and tenant payments, within MRI.
• Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and tenant ledgers to ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior property accountants and property management teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper financial documentation.
• Support: Assist with preparing reports and documents for audits or special projects as required by senior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience using MRI software for AP/AR functions.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles, particularly related to commercial real estate.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
