Client will also consider Amarillo or Lubbock, TX for this hybrid contract. Must live within a drivable distance.

This position maps to our Engineering classification and agencies. This position is intended for roles requiring technical experience such as engineering or construction. Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. Accountable for the meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures. Develop project plans and drives project milestones. Establishes an effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day directions to project resources and ensures the project teams are provided with the resources and support that enables the teams to reach their defined objectives. Ensure effective management changes occur throughout the course of the project. Responsible for the preparation of documentation and status reports. Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.

Overseeing consultants completing protection coordination studies across Client’s enterprise. Managing engineering studies, financial forecasts, project plans, and reporting. The project is part of wildfire mitigation efforts and runs through December 2027.

Requirements:

• Entry level to 5 years of experience
• Background in electric distribution or system protection projects
• Technical education preferred but not required
• Open to recent grads with strong learning ability
• Financial acumen
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• SAP a plus not required.
