Title: HR Specialist, Program Operations

Pay Rate: $33.00 - 38.00/hourly

Work Location: Seattle, WA - onsite

Duration: 12 month contract role with a possibility of extension

Schedule: 40 hours week // Flexible on start/end times, except during event weeks

We are seeking a highly organized HR Specialist, Program Operations to support a global Executive Development & Culture team. This contractor will play a key role in managing operations for multiple leadership development programs, with a strong emphasis on planning and executing global in-person immersion summits for senior leaders.

This role is ideal for an operations-minded events professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, is exceptionally detail-oriented, and enjoys bringing structure and excellence to complex programs. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional participant experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support day-to-day operations of multiple executive development programs, with a primary focus on the Day 1 Leader Program for senior-level leaders.
  • Manage participant tracking, data management, and program documentation.
  • Coordinate logistics including simulation requests, scheduling, booking event space, and pre-planning for multi-day summits.
  • Support high-velocity culture programs as needed.
  • Provide onsite event support occasionally (estimated 5–10 events in 2026)
  • Attend one weekly full-team meeting for updates and cross-functional alignment.
  • Join a weekly operations meeting to review program status and address blockers.
  • Meet with the hiring manager weekly (bi-weekly once fully ramped).
  • Collaborate with program leads, internal teams, and external vendors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years program management or event management experience (HR program operations strongly preferred)
  • Experience delivering cross-functional projects
  • Experience planning and managing events of all sizes OR demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously
  • Strong comfort working with data (tracking, organizing, updating)

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required)
  • Experience supporting senior leadership development programs
  • Experience in large, fast-paced, highly matrixed organizations
