Myers Park Presbyterian Church, a vibrant and welcoming community of faith, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Director to help lead our growing Weekday School. Our Full-Day program is a five-star licensed school serving infants through preschool-aged children. As enrollment increases and we expand our classrooms, were seeking a collaborative leader to oversee the daily operations and ensure excellence in every aspect of our program. About the Role:

The Full-Day Operations Director manages the daily operations of our five-star licensed Weekday School program, serving infants through preschool-aged children. This role ensures a high-quality experience for children, families, and staff, and works in close partnership with the Managing Director to uphold a mission-aligned, faith-based educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Level III Portfolio or equivalent educational background
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year in childcare administration preferred
• Experience in a faith-based preschool program is a plus
• Proficient in computer and administrative systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage enrollment, family orientation, and waitlists
• Ensure licensing compliance and maintain a safe school environment
• Support curriculum delivery, classroom quality, and developmental documentation
• Oversee staff onboarding, communication, and classroom support
• Communicate regularly with families and address concerns
• Maintain database records, billing, and budget adherence
• Provide monthly operational reports to the Managing Director
• Must be able to engage in age-appropriate physical activity, including lifting children and participating in classroom routines, with or without reasonable accommodation.
