Practice Details

• Department has a multi-disciplinary practice style
• Position consists of pain management through procedures, medications, psychology, sleep medicine, physical therapy, integrative health, and nutrition
• Management of medications including non-opioid & opioid for select patients (not many)
• Managing patients with intrathecal pain pumps
• Outpatient based department with ambulatory surgery center block time
• Strong referral network from both internal and external providers
• Very strong relationship with orthopedic, podiatry, and sports medicine department who is a primary contributor to the spine clinic within the institution
• Sanford’s Pain Management Services provides outpatient service weekdays only (no call on weekends or evenings)
