Job Description

The Claiborne at Newnan Lakes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Service Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (PSA/CNA) to join our team on a full-time basis. As a PSA/CNA, you will provide exceptional care and services to our residents with compassion, kindness, and respect. This is an individual contributor role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a healthcare or medical setting and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

We have full-time and part time hourly positions offering a competitive compensation package in the range of $12.50 to $16 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with transferring, ambulation, and range of motion exercises
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff
- Assist with medication administration and documentation as directed by healthcare professionals
- Help to maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents, including regular housekeeping and laundry tasks
- Encourage participation in activities and social events to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Document and report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Requirements:

- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Georgia
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical setting preferred
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
