Your Role and Responsibilities - Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and developing personalized care strategies
- Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues individually or alongside collaborating physicians based on your qualifications
- Providing education to patients and their families on health maintenance, wellness practices, and disease prevention
- Prescribing relevant medications and therapies as per your practice authority
- Engaging in ongoing patient management and chronic care coordination
- Working cohesively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care
- Maintaining meticulous records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Educational Background - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Credentials - Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Massachusetts
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure these within 90 days)
