  1. We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our dynamic Information Security team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and optimizing security technologies to protect the organization’s critical IT infrastructure. The candidate will work closely with the network infrastructure team, focusing specifically on security aspects related to Cisco switches and Palo Alto firewalls. You will collaborate closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead point of contact for IT teams on all security-related initiatives and integrations.
  • Provide technical leadership in the deployment, configuration, and optimization of security tools.
  • Oversee the implementation, tuning, and troubleshooting of security systems, including:
  • Network Access Control (NAC) - Forescout is what is currently used, but any experience with any NAC resources will work
  • Other areas of interest that candidate will be exposed to:
  1. Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
  2. Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP)/Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
  3. Email malware and spam filtering
  4. Active Directory (AD) security
  5. Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  6. Vulnerability Management
  7. Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  8. Certificate Management
  9. Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  10. Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Participate in incident response, forensic analysis, and remediation planning.
  • Maintain and enhance technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies, and recommend improvements.
  • Complete third-party security questionnaires and participate in external cybersecurity program reviews, including penetration testing and framework reviews.
  • Participate in risk assessments and tabletop exercises.
  • Analyze system logs for health and troubleshooting.
  • Assist Security Operations during security incidents.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in security
  • Network Access Control (NAC) experience: Forescout, Aruba, Fortinet, Cisco Identity Svcs Engine (ISE), ThreatLocker, etc.
  • Experience with Cisco Switches & Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise security architecture and IT infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications: CISSP, GIAC, OSCP, or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) are a plus
  • Experience with security automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001).
