About the team + role The Robinhood Money (“RHY”) Compliance AML Senior Lead will work as a part of a team to identify and address key AML challenges and concerns. You will continuously assess the state of RHY’s AML Compliance Program to provide recommendations and assist in enhancing RHY’s oversight of Robinhood’s Financial Crimes Team. You will coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive timely decision-making in response to latent and emerging AML risks. Additionally, you will ensure consistent application of AML best practices, policies and procedures. What you’ll do Provide guidance and advisory to Product and Engineering teams on AML Compliance requirements and product design features. Build consensus with the Financial Crimes, Account Servicing, Product, Engineering and Fraud teams to drive targeted initiatives. Identify, advise and implement efficient and accurate improvements to enhance RHY’s oversight of Robinhood’s Financial Crimes team. Coordinate with cross-functional teams of SMEs to analyze new product vulnerabilities and control proposals. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and coordinate with RHY AML and Financial Crimes leadership teams to prioritize resources accordingly. Review transaction surveillance trends and metrics, policies and procedures to improve RHY and enterprise-level AML risk posture. What you bring Bachelor’s Degree in a related field 6+ years working in AML investigations/regulatory compliance, preferably in payments Extensive knowledge of AML regulations and risk identification capabilities Strong business strategy, advisory, legal, or financial intelligence unit (FIU) experience Experience with AML controls, financial services AML typologies, rule building and analytics across multiple payments products Strong communication skills (written and oral), and ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders to drive initiatives and effect change Proven experience executing in the details and continuously improving processes Self-starter with ability to work independently What we offer Market competitive and pay equity-focused compensation structure 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents Annual lifestyle wallet for personal wellness, learning and development, and more!
