What You'll Be Doing

• Perform MIG welding on steel components and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Set up welding equipment and adjust settings for proper weld penetration and quality
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance
• Assist with material handling and staging parts for production
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
• Additional welding processes (TIG, Stick, Flux Core) are a plus, but not required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
