Heres your opportunity to work at a brand new, state-of-the-art medical clinic, alongside a supportive team! We are seeking a Medical Assistant who is highly motivated, well-organized, and exceptionally detail-orientated to join our team at our new urgent care center in Concord, CA. You must be a team player with great customer service skills. We are seeking someone who is interested in building a future with our medical center.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding, empathetic, patient-centric care
Take vitals and room patients in a timely fashion
Perform rapid screening tests (strep, influenza, mono, glucose, covid, etc.)
Ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the treating Physicians
Administer vaccines/injections
Perform phlebotomy duties
Audiogram and respirator fit testing
Set up and assist with wound care
All other required testing
Dispenses medications and appliances as ordered by the treating Physician
Monitor inventory
Attend staff meetings as required
Maintain and operate all medical devices, equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures
Clean exam rooms and equipment
Restocking exam rooms
Manage patient flow and volume
Answer phone calls
Cross-trained to perform Front Office duties
Be flexible in taking on other duties as assigned by Center Administrator or Providers

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Preeminent customer service (people-facing and empathy) skills
Well-developed time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize assignments and work
Office computer skills
Insurance billing knowledge a plus
Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited school
Previous Medical Assistant experience, 1 year preferred
