Job Description

We are hiring a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Marketing Coordinator / Proposal Writer for a Construction Company in York County. This role is essential to business development efforts, responsible for crafting compelling proposals, marketing materials, and content that reflect our company’s values and capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry and a passion for storytelling through both words and visuals.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal & Pursuit Development

  • Lead the development of RFP/RFQ responses, qualifications packages, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to gather and translate project information into persuasive content.
  • Coordinate internal deadlines and manage proposal timelines from inception to delivery.
  • Maintain a library of past proposals, resumes, project sheets, and marketing collateral.

Marketing & Content Creation

  • Write and edit content for brochures, case studies, project profiles, and social media.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Design and format visually compelling documents using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Support digital marketing efforts including website updates and email campaigns.

Business Development Support

  • Conduct market research and track potential opportunities.
  • Assist in CRM database management and lead tracking.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing or proposal writing, preferably in the AEC industry.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with CRM systems and construction platforms like Procore is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
