Responsibilities As a Operations Manufacturing Intern at The Marzetti Company you will:Support multiple process improvement projects through various phases of project executionCollect and analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Lean).Support quality assurance activities, including inspections and audits.Manage and communicate project goals and progressPartner cross-functionally to identify opportunities for improved productionSupports work plans, quality control, and material costs within established guidelines Qualifications Basic Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Leadership or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with CAD or ERP systems is a plus.Ability to work independently or as part of a teamLearning Outcomes:Gain practical experience in manufacturing operations and process improvement.Develop technical and professional skills in a real-world setting.Understand the importance of safety, quality, and efficiency in production environments.
