Job Title: Live-out Companion / Personal Care Assistant (Live-In During Summer months in East Hampton, NY). Work days/hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 9pm There is flexibility to work 6 days/week if you are interested.
Location: Primary residence in North Palm Beach, FL with seasonal travel to the Hamptons (live-in during summer months).
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and discreet Companion/Personal Care Assistant to support an older gentleman who is the owner and active operator of his own company. The role combines personal care assistance, mobility support, and professional accompaniment in both personal and business settings. The Principal's wife is involved in his care, and the Companion will work collaboratively with her to ensure consistent, respectful support.
Key Responsibilities: Personal Care & Daily Support: - Assist the Principal with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and general personal care.
- Provide mobility assistance, including wheelchair support as needed.
- Ensure the Principal's comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
Transportation & Appointments: - Drive the Principal to and from medical appointments, business meetings, and other engagements.
- Assist with transfers in and out of vehicles and buildings as required.
Professional & Business Support: - Accompany the Principal to work and business meetings when wheelchair assistance or physical support is needed.
- Provide discreet, behind-the-scenes support during meetings and professional engagements without interrupting business operations.
Travel & Live-In Support: - Travel with the Principal and family to the Hamptons and provide live-in support during the summer months.
- Assist with daily routines and care needs while traveling or residing seasonally.
Collaboration & Communication: - Work closely with the Principal's wife and any other household or professional staff to ensure seamless care.
- Communicate clearly regarding schedules, needs, and any changes in condition or routine.
Qualifications: - Prior experience as a Companion, Personal Care Assistant, or similar role supporting an older adult.
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience assisting individuals who use a wheelchair preferred.
- Professional, discreet, and respectful demeanor, especially in business settings.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to travel and live-in seasonally.

Compensation: - $40 - $42/hour....commensurate with experience.
