Job Type: Full-Time, Live-In

About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Live-In Caregiver to support a lovely couple in
Brick, NJ . One of the clients is living with
dementia , and we are looking for someone who is
engaging, patient, and experienced in memory care. The ideal candidate will be
bi-lingual in Spanish and English and must be comfortable around
friendly dogs .
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities including grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities, especially for dementia care
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Monitor client health and ensure medications are taken as prescribed
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Support mobility and transfers as needed
- Communicate effectively with the family and care team
Requirements:
- Bi-lingual Spanish speaker
- Previous experience with dementia care
- Must be comfortable with dogs
- Reliable, caring, and professional demeanor
- Ability to live-in for multiple consecutive days
- Valid ID and work authorization
- References required
- Must have an active CHHA license in New Jersey
- Have a valid physical examination within the last year, TB testing or negative Chest x-ray, and proof of MMR vaccine.
