The Opportunity:
Our White Plains office is currently seeking a part-time Legal Nurse Consultant to support our attorneys with complex medical and legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified candidate seeking flexible, remote work within a collaborative and dynamic legal team.

This is a part-time role, with working hours of up to 25 a week

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, identify, and organize relevant medical records

• Prepare chronologies, timelines, and detailed summaries of medical documentation

• Evaluate medical issues related to causation and damages

• Assess strengths and weaknesses of medical aspects of cases in collaboration with attorneys

• Conduct literature searches and research on medical topics, parties, and experts

• Assist in identifying and organizing materials for expert witness review

• Prepare demonstrative evidence and assist with deposition, ADR, and trial preparation

• Educate attorneys and clients on relevant medical concepts

Qualifications:

• Legal Nurse Consultant Certification (LNCC through AALNC preferred)

• Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven experience in medical and damages analysis

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Occasional travel to the White Plains office may be required

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered part-time and therefore is not benefits eligible.

Salary Range:

$55—$65 USD
