Our client, a growing SaaS firm based in NJ is looking for Software Engineers to join the growing team. For this level role you w ill have complete, ownership of customer implementations from a technical perspective.
The ideal candidate has experience leading and mentoring more junior people and building products across the tech stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and several backend languages. You will join a small, growing team to solve complex challenges for both the front and back-end architecture. This will deliver a great experience for their clients . This is a hybrid role based in NJ.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical discussions with management and other teams.
• Translate complex technical topics into clear, understandable language for non-technical members.
• Encourage and implement process improvements to increase team productivity, code quality, and project delivery efficiency.
• Anticipate potential technical risks and bottlenecks, and develop strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and quality.
• Advocate for and implement test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and other tools to improve the speed and quality of releases.
• Participate in all aspects of development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Design and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.
• Work primarily in technologies like .NET, Angular/React, JavaScript, SQL, Postgres, etc.
• Engage with designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with back-end engineers to create reliable APIs.
• Evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and recognition to maintain high levels of motivation and productivity.

Required skills and qualifications

• 5+ of experience in working and building large-scale software applications
• 3+ years mentoring junior people
• Experience in building web applications
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of Angular/React and JavaScript
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Experience in unit/integration testing
