We are seeking a skilled Laser Technician to support a precision manufacturing client. This role requires hands-on experience with industrial laser systems, a solid understanding of technical drawings, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. 

3rd Shift (Night shift) Full-time position - Urgently hiring

  Responsibilities:

• Operate laser equipment (e.g., CO2, fiber, UV) for cutting, engraving, or welding of solar components and assemblies.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide laser setup and production runs.
• Knowledge of Lathe and Mills
• Monitor production quality and make adjustments as needed to maintain tolerances and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to support R&D, prototyping, and production workflows.
• Maintain detailed logs of work performed, including system settings, output data, and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety protocols, including laser safety standards (e.g., ANSI Z136.1), PPE usage, and cleanroom procedures as applicable.

 

Required:

• Welding exp
• 2+ years of experience operating industrial laser equipment.
• Familiarity with laser systems (e.g., Trumpf, Epilog, IPG, or similar), CAD/CAM software, and control systems.

Preferred:

• Experience in the solar, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of optics, photonics, or microfabrication techniques.
• Basic electrical or mechanical troubleshooting skills
