What You’ll Do

As a vital member of our team, you will:

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using various tools and techniques.
• Install pipe assemblies, valves, and appliances like dishwashers and water heaters.
• Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes or fittings.
• Test pipes and fixtures for leaks using water or air pressure.
• Anchor steel supports to hold pipes securely in place.
• Install underground piping systems and extend piping as needed.
• Perform complex calculations for special projects.
• Prepare cost estimates and negotiate contracts.
• Weld small pipes using specialized techniques.
• Maintain rapport with customers by addressing complaints and suggesting improvements.
• Document service and installation activities accurately.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets with minimal callbacks.
• Complete special projects and other assigned duties.

What You Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A valid Journeyman License.
• 3+ years of related experience and/or training.
• The ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

• Dexterity to operate hand and power tools.
• The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds regularly.
• Capability to walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach in all directions.
• Balance while working off the ground using ladders or scaffolds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good vision and hearing to perform maintenance duties and communicate effectively.
