Join Origin as an Insurance Fraud Investigator. In this role, youll take the lead on investigations into potentially fraudulent insurance claims, utilizing your skills in surveillance, interviews, background checks, and evidence collection. Youll assess claimants stories, validate incident details, and help ensure the integrity of the claims process. This position is ideal for professionals with law enforcement or insurance fraud backgrounds.ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed investigations into suspected insurance fraud.Perform both telephonic and on-site field investigations.Review claim files for red flags, inconsistencies, and suspicious patterns.Plan and execute full investigations based on initial claim reviews.Obtain clear and accurate recorded statements in-person and over the phone.Apply proven investigative and interview methods to gather vital information.Analyze and verify evidence collected from multiple data sources.Compile comprehensive reports that clearly document investigative findings.Maintain effective, professional communication with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.Utilize surveillance techniques to gather evidence related to fraud cases.QualificationsPrivate investigation: at least 1 year (required)Minimum of two years of hands-on field investigation experience.Must have experience in insurance fraud cases and SIU processes.Excellent analytical thinking and critical judgment.Skilled in investigative fieldwork, evidence handling, and reporting.Exceptional communication and documentation abilities.Must be open and available to travel frequently (50-100%)Former or current law enforcement preferred.Additional languages: Spanish-speaking preferred.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceMileage reimbursementTravel reimbursementPTO and Paid HolidaysUnlimited Time OffSchedule:8-hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekends as neededLocation:Los Angeles, CAMust relocate before starting
