Role/Job Title: Infrastructure DELL/HP Storage & Backup Admin
Work Location - Wokingham, UK (3 days onsite mandatory, with ad-hoc visits to Reading locations)
Your Responsibilities
Dell PowerMax & HP 3PAR expert.
Perform high-level and low-level design towards Storage (PowerMax 2000 & 8000) and Backup (HP StoreOnce & Veritas).
Work with project teams to address requirements towards storage & backup.
Strong design and solution experience.
Implementation and management of HP Enterprise Storage (3Par), including Nimble and NetApp platforms.
Implementation and management of SAN fabrics, switches, and components.
Enterprise storage hardware and software fault resolution in HA critical estates.
Shell script writing.
RedHat Linux experience.
Windows OS experience.
Networking protocols and topologies.
Strong skills in verbal and written communication including technical documentation.
Supporting Dell and HP storage.
Understanding NG requirements on infrastructure provisioning and working with Dell team to review design.
Expertise in Dell products and Dell-offered technical solutions.
Building and integrating information systems to meet organizational needs.
Assessing current infrastructure architecture and recommending improvements.
Resolving technical issues as they arise.
Providing supervision and guidance to implementation/development teams.
Researching current and emerging technologies and proposing relevant changes.
Awareness of TOGAF framework (certification is an added advantage).
Informing stakeholders about any issues with technical solutions.
Strong background in networking technologies and excellent communication skills.
Monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery.
Candidate must be able to achieve SC security vetting clearance.

Support creation of build and configuration documents for Storage (PowerMax 2000 & 8000) and Backup (HP StoreOnce & Veritas).
Veritas NetBackup installation, support, and management.
Implementation and management of HP Enterprise Storage (3Par), Nimble, and NetApp platforms.
SAN fabrics, switches, and component implementation and management.
Fault resolution in high-availability enterprise storage environments.
Shell scripting.
RedHat Linux experience.
Windows OS experience.
Networking protocols and topologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication including technical documentation.
